By 2085, government rule by the authoritarian conservatives, also known as the AuthCons, had taken the freedoms of the people, concentrated the wealth to a few, and ignored climate change. Society was in shambles and the earth was dying. The DomainShifters, an anti-AuthCon organization, have developed the ability to traverse between consecutive parallel universes by way of time-space continuum (TSC) shifts, allowing them to travel to different times. TSC shifts are tricky procedures that require much care to maintain temporal equilibrium between the universes. The mission of the DomainShifters is simple: stop the AuthCons in the past before they can affect the future. In 2024, Dr. Gabriel St. James, retired Professor of Toxicology, returns to his remote home in the Colorado mountains after attending a toxicology conference and running an "errand". Stopping at a roadside bar for dinner, he meets Isa, the owner. Isa is a DomainShifter who traveled through parallel universes from 2085 to recruit St. James for a mission to stop the AuthCons using his skills with mushroom toxins. They TSC shift throughout the 21st century, moving between the mountains of Colorado to the Sonoran Desert of Arizona, and finally to the Napa Valley in California, where a meeting forming the AuthCon movement has been organized by conservative billionaire Maxwell Scent at his Heritage Estate and Vineyard. This is the DomainShifters' target; if they accomplish their mission, they may save the future and the earth. Unfortunately, their mission isn't as top-secret as they had hoped. As they travel through time and fall in love, will Isa and St. James escape AuthCon assassins and arrest? If the mission changes the future, will they have a future together?
