This book is hard to describe. I can describe it as indescribable, as little morsels of wisdom which came to me from time to time, which I thought were interesting enough to record and save. There were never any plans to publish them, but they seem to have a life of their own, and recently clamored to gather themselves into a book. I followed this inner prompting, and with my wife's help, organized them into their current form. This editing was harder than writing the book and it wasn't as much fun.
However, reading from this compilation turned out to be profoundly inspiring. I was frequently brought to tears, which is a little embarrassing to admit. The words I had written connected me to some higher truth and even transcended my state of ordinary consciousness.
An unexpected gift was hearing similar responses from family and friends, who were able to access deeper levels of their own selves.
As I move closer to the end of my life, it becomes increasingly important for me to inspire others to connect to their own truths. This book is one way to do that. If this all sounds too personal for a book introduction, then so be it. It sears my heart, and I hope it touches yours.
