The Devil I Know

A psychological crime story about a man named Palmer Hamilton. Palmer only experienced being bullied, abused, and controlled by people who were supposed to love him. Beaten down by this unfairness and learning that nobody would be coming to his aid, he escapes traumatic memories by writing in his journal. However, Palmer's lifelong friend, Malachi is committed to helping Palmer regain all he's lost, but Malachi's commitment is often fraught with self-destructive behavior. Rather than helping Palmer, Malachi leads Palmer down a destructive path of addiction, violence, and murder.
