Olive’s Journey

This is a true story about a little puppy named Olive, who was born different. Follow along as she eventually becomes free from the discrimination, and finds true happiness and love, despite her unique appearance. My vision in writing this book is to remind everyone that even if you were born different, you still deserve to be loved just the same. A Porcelaine is an ancient French breed known for its noble lineage and history as a hunting dog. These dogs have an elegant and regal appearance, with a white coat and distinctive orange markings on the ears and body. Olive was born with a white coat and black ears, as well as black markings on her body. This is not the standard breed color. Once her pictures were posted for the world to see...the controversy began!
