MerKids Explore: Coral Reef

MerKids Explore: Coral Reef is the first book in a new series of picture books which follow sisters, Maisie and Mila, on their underwater mermaid adventures where they learn all about fascinating ocean habitats and the creatures who call them home. Book one sets the stage for the whole series.

Sisters Maisie and Mila set out on what they think will be a regular beach vacation. But when they try out snorkeling for the first time, they find a seahorse tangled in a plastic bag. Of course they rescue the poor seahorse! But what they didn't know was that their good deed did not go unnoticed. They were seen by a magical sea turtle named Dash. And as a thank you for their kindness, he gives each of the sisters a magical bracelet that turns them into mermaids. Then he takes them on a fun filled tour of a coral reef and introduces them to the amazing creatures who live there!
