She reveals, through recounting her lived experiences, how she has come to understand His Word personally. The author invites the reader to explore how everyday activities can give access to His wisdom and His will. She uses such common living experiences as training dogs, gardening, and caring for fish to give insight into the wonder of God's message of love and support.

The second edition of "The Diary of a SAVED Black Woman" features all the lighthearted allegories and witticisms, chronicling the author's journey with Christ through the wilderness, but it has been updated for an easier reading experience. It also includes a surprise revelation at the end, only discovered after the additional editing.
