"Ring of Trouble" is a delightfully illustrated, magical tale of courage, determination, and cleverness. Maribel is a prideful girl whose boastfulness of her beautiful amethyst ring leads to a great deal of trouble. When the evil Dorka tricks Maribel into losing her prized ring, she's turned into a bird and left alone, afraid, and unable to speak. She's soon captured for a bird show, saves a kind soldier, and uses clever thinking that changes everything.
