Brian Zimmerman lived a completely normal life . . . until he received a terminal diagnosis. His life was turned upside down as he stared at his own death. But this turning opened his eyes to the rich promises and teachings of Scripture he had long believed in. As a respected teacher and friend, he was asked to teach others not just how to live well, but how to die well. And so he did. Chronicling his reflections on mortality and suffering as he battled cancer, Brian cut a trail for Christians to face death with courage, confidence, and an immovable conviction that Christ has conquered all-even death itself.
BRIAN LEE ZIMMERMAN (February 11, 1952-September 5, 2024) was a follower of Jesus Christ, as well as a husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He worked many years as a physical therapist, where he learned much about how to care for ailing bodies. He is survived by his wife Karen (of 50 years) and his children Justin, Christopher, and Sarah.
