Run to Survive is the first book in a trilogy. This story is about a good man in crisis with no hope for the future. He has lost everything. He is facing eviction, lost the pub he owned, is abandoned by his girlfriend, and his best friend dies in mysterious circumstances. He spends his days stoned, wandering around, talking to unworthy people, picking up women in pubs and wasting his life. He is not motivated to find a way out of his troubles. One day, during this deep agony, an old high school mate appears suddenly in his life. He offers Henry a lot of money and proposes a risky and shady mission to Mexico to recover some mysterious "goods." Henry reluctantly accepts the mission, even knowing it is not the right thing to do. Feeling trapped, he is catapulted into a series of non-stop adventures. However, despite these misfortunes, he will find hope for survival and new reasons to live.
