Mary Rose is a former educator in public schools whose career was derailed by economic recession in the United States. While weathering the crisis, she began the work of answering difficult questions through the lens of poking a flashlight into the darkness. During her exploration of the shadowy places, Mary was awakened to bad ideas plaguing the nation. The resulting fiction is a literary delight - spanning the decades in America from the fall of the twin towers to the Capitol riot - and muses on the people you meet walking down the street each day.
