As we probably already know, Genesis is the first book of the Bible. It's in the Old Testament section in the front - right after the book cover. It's fairly easy to find. Genesis was written around 1450 - 1410 B.C. by a man we all have heard of before... Moses. Ring a bell? I thought so. It is a well-known book because it provides us with the story of creation. It tells us how, life as we know it, all began. It gives us God's original 'perfect' plan for humanity and life, while revealing the freedom He gave us to make our own choices on how we want to live it. We learn the person and nature of God (as Creator, Sustainer, Judge and Redeemer) and the value of human beings (made in God's image, saved by grace and used by God in the world). We also learn what happens when we sin (the fall, the separation from God and His judgment). Importantly, we learn about hope (God's promises, forgiveness and the promised Messiah).

In this guide, we study the Book Of Genesis and share it with you. As with all of our guides, we explain it in simple language with a dose of humor and super cool cartoon illustrations.

We hope you are blessed by reading it.
