In the bloody aftermath of the battle of Sangheir, Viera sets off to track down the missing and wounded Seth. Stripped of his magic and in the hands of the enemy, Seth can do little to aid her. He's surrounded by an entire army of enemies headed home to the capital of Nocturne where the emperor himself waits to have a word with him. Seth is determined to break free before then, but there are many secrets of this war and his heritage to which he is still ignorant, and the dark words of the emperor can be hard to ignore when both history and destiny seem to support them.
