The Cleaners regained their missing partner, but in doing so, they lost another. Can a fractured team be made whole? Or is this one mess they can't fix?

Pen is used to cleaning up other people's messes, but she's always had backup. Darius running off in Marc's body has left her one cowboy short, and following a lead on his location lands Pen in a fight for her life. Someone has put a bounty on her head, and mercenaries are coming out of the woodwork to collect.

Meanwhile, Sharpe faces trouble at the Woo Woo Squad. After the all-too-obvious city destruction left by their last big case, the higher-ups have him under surveillance. He needs to toe the line, but how can he stay on the right side of the law when the people he cares about are in danger?
