Irrational is a cautionary twenty-third-century dystopian tale of science run amuck. Humans are no longer the superior species in our world. In fact, we are the lower class on Earth. More intelligent and stronger than humans, the dolmans control our planet. Humans are enslaved, and it's obvious the dolmans intend our complete erasure.
Earth is a planet burnt and badly scarred by past wars and deadly natural disasters. Seven billion humans have already perished, and the rest survive to do their taskmasters' bidding.
Led by their Emperor, these evil creatures did not arrive from a distant world. They are the product of a genetic experiment gone astray. The dolman are, in fact, the children of mankind. Superior, arrogant, domineering, and IRRATIONAL in their obsession to wipe out their predecessors, they employ their Empire's powerful Space Force to wield power in the region around them. Over the past decade, they've displaced most of the Earth Empire Space Force human leadership. But one man has a plan.
With the help of a freighter captain, Admiral Jonas Halsey leads a sizeable rebellion that first escapes and then begins the long struggle to shake off the bonds of slavery and free themselves and the humans remaining on Earth. Jonas turns the rag-tag group into a force to be reckoned with, and many step up to aid in the fight and build a new life and a new democracy. Along the way, they pioneer a new world for themselves.
Epic battles are waged across the heavens, ending in a showdown between humans and dolmans in their home world.
