The "Nightboat" is a mythical sailing ship that is said to transfer followers of the Demon Baphomet to the island where his temple lies. Descendants of the original followers, who were crusaders tortured and killed by the Spanish Inquisition, live on a remote island in the Caribbean.
Darcy George gives his friend Seth Calder a Grimoire that supposedly tells how to summon Baphomet and gain incredible power via the demon. The two friends form a band and from its success are able to set in motion a grand scheme to complete the summoning, all on that same island in the Caribbean.
The other three members of the band wonder just who these two friends are, who have been posing as twin brothers since joining the band. When the band's manager Jack disappears, suspicions fly, but nothing specific can prove if the so-called twins were responsible.
