However, Mary Bishop is not a potential victim at all. She's the lure; the bait in the trap. The reward for reeling Hunter in: a quarter of a million dollars.

After Hunter saves Mary, the two quickly grow close. But is this real, or is she just playing him along; ultimately luring him to an uninhabited island for an elaborate snuff game that pretends to be a Survivor-style reality TV show, where the man hunting Hunter prepares for yet another killing spree among the participants, completing his twisted revenge on his target?

NOTE: This is a short novel, just over 30k words; based on a screenplay and following a screenplay-type of structure. There are no chapters, just a prologue, a central section, epilogue. It alternates between present- and past-tense sections, seen from the 3rd person POVs of the two main characters.
