Set in the 1950s, this is a story of Pablo and Luna, two siblings from San Juan on the island of Puerto Rico.

After a tragic accident takes the lives of their parents, they are sent up into the mountains to live with their grandmother, Juana Maria, a curandera, a healer.

Before she dies, she passes on the secrets of the mountain, and even though it's not what they want, they have to continue her legacy.
