Ashmita’s Story

This novel is based on a true story. Ashmita, a 57-year-old beautiful woman, has lived a life of quiet suffering, her soul worn down by the relentless verbal abuse of her husband, Garry. Once a man she loved, Garry has become a stranger to her-his words sharp and cutting, filled with jealousy, possessiveness, and cruelty. His temper, unpredictable and fierce, controls every interaction, leaving Ashmita isolated and mentally drained. He degrades her, mocks her family, and twists his own insecurities into toxic control.
