The Journal: A written report of the life and times of Jeremiah Kornegay. Written by him to be found or passed down through the generations to tell of his life here in the new world. The only survivor other than his three sisters captured by those that had massacred the 119 souls that had made their way across the vast expanse of sea to escape the harsh life of the old world.

Looking for land and a new life they had no idea what they were to find here in this new vast untamed land. They had hoped to raise their families, start a farm, and live in peace. They were wrong, things don't always go as planned, especially here in this untamed land of middle 1700s America. Jeremiah was orphaned and accepted by those that found him adapted to this hard new land swearing to avenge his family and free his sisters captured by the ones that had orphaned him.

Jeremiah learned his lessons well, reading and writing learned at the knees of his adopted mother is only the beginning of his education as he learned the art of survival, gunmanship, and hard fighting from his adopted pa and the men under his leadership. "The Fighting Kornegay's"

is a name he learned to wear proudly as part of the new clan that has accepted him as their own.

'The Journal' found by Thomas in a dusty loft, yellowed with age, written in a penmanship that he cannot read. He and his dad Felix descendants of Jeremiah cannot put down the journal as they read the history of their family in the words of the one that had lived it.

So come along and join around the table as they read the life and times of Jeremiah Kornegay.
