To the Top and Back Again

Adam Santana is of Spanish parentage and works for the Mail, the national newspaper of Wales, in Cardiff. There he teams up with Alison Knight, who later becomes his girlfriend, to investigate a tax fraud involving financial advisers illegally sending money to offshore tax havens so their clients can avoid paying UK tax on the sums involved. Their joint investigations nearly get Adam murdered and involve journeys to Spain where the criminals are holed out in an expensive cruise boat and a luxury apartment. In between Adam meets another girlfriend who is tragically killed in a rock climbing incident. Will the criminals get prosecuted? Will Adam ever find happiness in his love life?
