An intriguing mystery which kept me guessing... Having read the first two novels, I was excited to meet up with Rose, Trixie and Rob again for another mysterious whodunnit. These three characters feel like family to me now, so I commend the author for her excellent characterisation as she presents them all so realistically that her readers can actually engage with them all personally. The same can be said for Rose's police officer friend who plays a very active role in this murder mystery.
Would Make a BRILLIANT TV Series! Third in the series - absolutely great to catch up with Rose, Trixie, Rob and Anthony again. I love these characters. I can't help thinking that these books would make a great tv series showing the gorgeous city of Edinburgh and the wonderful Rose solving crimes. I found this one very moving and deeper than the first two. It definitely got the old grey cells in a knot trying to suss out who was responsible for the deaths! Brilliant ending!
