"I go by many names. And each of them holds power."

Annika has decided. She will stay in Ausurnia to negotiate peace between the tyrant leader of Rovalkia and the king of Ausurnia after finding out that the two countries have been in a cold-war stalemate for the past one hundred years. But she becomes increasingly frustrated as Rovalkia's leader remains silent, while everyone on the Ausurnian king's counsel is pushing for war.

While she searches for a solution that won't lead to bloodshed, Rovalkia suddenly declares that they're invading Tridoka, Ausurnia's poorest ally, across the vast ocean. The king deploys his son's company to head off Rovalkia's army in Tridoka and Annika must stay steadfast in her new role as the queen's assistant while Rovalkian refugees pour across the border and a new threat greater than Rovalkia's leader attempts to rob Annika of everyone she loves.
