Please allow me to introduce you to Daryl the raindrop, an ordinary water molecule lounging about on his favourite sunny summertime lake, until he is lifted from that lake and transformed into a light fluffy cloud, traveling wherever the wind blows him.
One day Daryl's cloud stalls over a huge human city. Heavy pollution rising from the city bursts his cloud, turning him back into a raindrop and sending him plummeting towards the rooftops below. Now Daryl lays on a sodden city skylight yearning to be a cloud once more, so he sucks up his watered-down courage, and sets off on an adventure like no other.
During his adventure Daryl will cross obstacle ridden rooftops, befriend an eccentric racing pigeon, who is two eggs short of the full dozen, flow through rubbish-strewn city streets, between towering monstrosities of concrete and steel, then descend into the deepest sewers, where he encounters a villainous bottlecap crown wearing, three-legged rat king determined to put an end to his quest.
For Daryl to achieve his dream of becoming a cloud again, he will need to seek out a courage he never knew he had, sacrifice greatly, and make impossible choices, but will it all be too much for a single raindrop to bear?
If you want the answer to that alluring question, then grab a cuppa, a chocolate biscuit, not that many, greedy, and join me, the creator of all things green and plentiful, and I will take you on a journey you will Never forget.
