Peter Anderson is making his yearly vacation to Athens, Greece, eager to relax and escape from the harsh Swedish winter for a few weeks. But his peace and quiet is constantly interrupted by everyone around him; nosy neighbours, his two-timing brother, and an unexpected visit from his extroverted girlfriend. It seems that Peter will never find a moment to himself.

On an impulse, Peter buys and fixes up the perfect vintage motorbike, living out a dream he was never able to achieve in his youth. His new sense of freedom is short lived, as he will soon have to return to his life as a Stockholm bus driver, and face a deeper problem he is trying to run away from.
