Jake and Ronnie are married when he returns to Bitter Creek from Tucson. Meanwhile, back in Utah, Tommy and his family receive the newd about Josh's death., Tommy's older brother. Tommy can't come to grips with his brother's death, and swears vengeance upon the man who shot and killed him. Tommy buys a six-gun and practices to perfect his draw and accuracy. At nineteen he leaves his home in search of the man who shot his brother, adamant to kill him when he finds the man.

However, things are not always as they seem, and Tommy soon finds himself at a crossroads where he has to make a decision.
