John Johnson and his record store Pet Sounds have become a regular part of the Venice Beach community, always willing to lend a friendly ear or provide the best music. But the death of John's neighbor and oldest friend and his coffee shop being immediately taken over by a vegan cafe run by a pretentious owner are a harsh reminder that times are changing.
