The Christmas Miracle comes to Dracula's Castle via a newly installed cable dish. A crisis of fear, dissatisfaction and dwindling finances lead to a special haunting of the old demon himself. Three Night Visitors using the large TV screen show Vlad Dracul his Christmas past, present and future, but can the Christmas spirit itself prevail? An incredible and scandalous challenge, a war of mismatched stereotypes, comedy, and satire that would have both Dickens and Stoker clutching crucifixes and trembling under the holly. The characters in the tale include various Jonathan Harkers, a captured Bram Stoker, real estate agent Bob Renfield, the three brides, the British developers John and Larry Talbottom, Roma agents Zoltan and Robi, sickly Little Neemy Harker and many more. The Castle itself is somewhere in Transylvanian Romania and suffering equally from age and a dark reputation. This is, and is not, the Dracula of popular legend, but still the historical Vlad Dracul Tepes with his own record of dreadful atrocities.

The violence in the book is somewhat defanged. Only biting humor and impossible redemption which will leave you satisfied even if you are a vampire, which I certainly hope you are not! Though I do hope everyone living (or otherwise) gets a chance to enjoy this book. A chance as challenging perhaps as the very idea of Dracula vs. Christmas.
