Heather's mother comes to London for Christmas. Jodi has told her and Heather that Mark has a special surprise for Heather, but she won't tell anyone what it is---Mark has sworn her to secrecy. Even his own parents only know there's a special surprise, but only Mark and Jodi know what it is.
On Christmas morning, the three of them open their gifts, but before they leave to go to Mark's parents, as he and Heather sit in front of their tree, he tells her he has a very special gift for her.
