As a Wizard, this young boy is tutored and granted the ability to perform secret magical powers and perform powerful spells. This adventure commences in a beautiful area called the Mystic River Basin in central Illinois in the 1940s with the early life of this young boy living on a farm with his mother, father, and brother in the center of North America, just outside a small village that is called Milwood. John, his brother Jess, and four friends travel to The Kingdom of Chthonic to battle Sir Hugo and his dragons to save the kingdom.
