Being the Boss Lady of a soccer team has its benefits, even without biscuits.

Sophie is in charge of all aspects of her life including her new job as legal counsel for the hot new expansion soccer team in Detroit. But when the team's new goalkeeper strolls into her office to sign his contract, it flips her carefully controlled universe upside down.

Brody is a broody, moody loner-a typical keeper. He's also an expensive risk the team has taken in an attempt to fill a crucial position for their upcoming season. But his meet-cute in the Boss Lady's office leaves him flat footed and he struggles to find his groove on the team.

When he admits he needs something no team therapist or manager can provide, he makes a decision-and a life-changing appointment, forcing Sophie into an up close and personal 50-50 situation with him that makes her reveal her own secrets, not to mention her obsession with him.
