Ben Kershaw is manhandled and near to the brink of death, he is left for dead By Orville and his henchmen. Unfortunately for Cliff Orville, Ben finds a way to survive the ordeal, and taken in by the Shoshone Indian tribe. White Dove nurses Ben back to health, and after two years Ben is ready to return to Twin Peaks to avenge himself against Cliff Orville and take back what had been his. He finds them one by one, and deals with them in the most horrific way. The newly appointed Sheriff is in dire straits about the killing of his companions. He sees but isn't sure if the man who passes him, is Ben Kershaw. Matt forgets about it until a couple of days later.
