Bobby Powell graduates his Senior year with Honors and a full scholarship to Princeton Law. As Captain of the local football team, he has a lot on his plate. Bobby drops his girlfriend off at home after their graduation bash, and wakes up three months later, only to find out that he is paralyzed from the waist down and will have to spend his life in a wheelchair.
