Teresa travels out west to be a mail-order bride. Along the way, she meets a lawman, bitter from his years of tracking outlaws. Realizing that the man that has sent for Teresa may have been killed, Sheriff Cole decides to accompany Teresa to her new husband's home. Their worst fears are quickly realized as Teresa finds herself a new widow with a gang of outlaws now targeting her...but will Sheriff Cole save the day and fall for her in the process?
