The extra military training of Stefan Peterson makes him the perfect person for finding and killing the ex-member of Resistance Alexa Abramovitz. A few years ago Alexa was sent by her father to the small and cosmopolitan Greek island of Santorini to save her life. Alexa manages to set up there a small business with success. Anton Ivanov finds Alexa at Santorini and informs her that she is nominated for being the first Prime Minister of free Borovia.

Alexa meets Stefan at a bar, and after a misunderstanding, they end up having sex in Stefan's room. They meet again in Borovia. She is the Prime Minister and he is her bodyguard for killing her according to Dimitris Vasiliev's orders. Stefan realizes that he is in love with her and saves her life from murder attempts twice. During the second attempt - also against the President of the Borovia - he is being injured.

This incident brings them closer, but Stefan's past is always in front of them, as Dimitri Vasiliev blackmails him with his affair with the Prime Minister makes Stefan break up with her, and engages with his only daughter Olga. At the same time, Vladimir, a closed-friend of Alexa from Resistance comes back to Borovia after his divorce in America. Stefan confesses to Alexa his love, but Alexa doesn't believe him trying to stay away from him.

An envelope regarding Stefan's dark past makes her break up with him permanently. A few days before the first anniversary of the freedom of Borovia Stefan and a special team, under his commands, is after Dimitri Vasiliev who tries to carry out a coup and establishes the dictatorship again. Stefan's team succeeds by killing Vasiliev. On the day of the military parade, Alexa faints. She goes to the hospital to check her twins-babies where Stefan finds out about them. He confesses his love to her recommending to leave behind their past. Is she going to accept their common future?
