Rebecca had missed her step mother terribly. She had been as much of a mother to Rebecca as anyone could ask for and it left her devastated when the terrible disease took her away. Rebecca's life had become a maze of figuring out where the next meal would come from and setting a good example for her two younger sisters. She longed for adventure and mystery. And mystery is what she saw in her new neighbor, the dark cowboy named Drew. Drew definitely hadn't expected his neighbor to be such a beauty. But he didn't have time for a woman, and even if he did, his pretty neighbor was surely already spoken for. He hadn't missed seeing the young man who came for dinner at least once a week.
