And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.The word translated moved is a non-active: rachaph ????? (annunciation: raw-khaf') meaning; to brood as over lays or to stand upon in guard and also meaning; to be relaxed (by implication). So the first active we hear or read of God in the Holy Bible is His audibility, or the power of His words "let there be".Being the express image of God, our power is also in the tongue as His is. That is why the book of Proverbs says the tongue of the wise is health. It means our words have the power to make well or to collapse us. So the unspoken word is like the piercings of the wicked tongue, it does not build. So we construct by our words. Our daily confessions, what we call our life becomes our lives and what we call our children become our children.
