Upon his release from prison for involuntary manslaughter, Billy Blackhawk came home to nothing but scorn and ridicule, being made to feel like a traitor to his community - and his heritage - for having killed a fellow Native American - even if it was in self defense.

When he finds out his beloved wife, Wanda Lone Dove, was killed in a mysterious "accident," while he was incarcerated - and the local Sheriff has been doing his best to cover it up - Billy embarks on a personal quest to find out what really happened to his wife, and God help anyone who got in his way.
