?The third book in a new series of short horror anthology stories for adults, young adults and older teens.?
Welcome to the Twisted Library series, where you will be able to browse the many tales of terror.
This collection of nine chilling horror and suspense stories delve into the realm of things that go bump in the night, demonic beings that live amongst us, an evil that lurks within our minds, skin-crawling moments, and nightmares beyond anything you can ever imagine.
Here is a brief look at the terrifying stories that may cause you to stay up at night:
The Wheelbarrow - A teenager finds his younger brother's wheelbarrow sitting in a corner of their neighborhood. Inside, he sees a suspicious-looking bundle that elicits ominous feelings within him.
Emily's Ending - Consuming porn has been a lifestyle for him for years on end, now, he seeks more and more pleasure with a new website that can generate anything he wants. Soon enough, he'll have more than he can bargain for.
The Hunt - I've always loved my annual hunting trips. I loved getting out and about, feeling the fresh air against my skin, and picking a target. The adrenaline was like nothing I had ever felt before. This year I'll be inviting my lifelong bullies to come along with me.
Falling For My Best Friend - I think I might be in trouble and I don't know how much time I have left. I thought my best friend loved me but now I am not so certain. She was the best thing that happened to me but now that I want to investigate how a few of my friends died she has turned on me. She's cut off most of my avenues for communication but I have my diary that I hope will be found before she finds out about it.
The Elevator - As the wreckage of the plane in the middle of nowhere emanates smoke, so does the ship above. The lone survivor goes on a journey through the desert only to find an elevator. With desperation, and in the brink of death, he gets in the elevator and presses up. The elevator shakes in response as its door slides closed.
Shells - One day, while in the military, Greg receives orders to go out on a seemingly routine recovery mission. He gets a taste of the chaos and eerie odor of death that is distinctive to war. And as he understands just how "savory" violence really is, he discovers a whole other side to the story, a much darker side...
Convenience Store - Laila's in town for the night and gets hunger pangs at 2 am. Nothing seems open on google maps, so she goes wandering until she finds a convenience store. At a glance, it looks like any other place run by an old man, but because of her heedless curiosity, the old man opens up a back room for her to browse some very unusual "snacks".
Omen - Jess is certain that she is being stalked by something, but she doesn't know if the threat exists in the real world or the dream world. She tries to make sense of her unique spiritual battle but may not be equipped to deal with the evil force haunting her.
Shower - Visions plague her and voices start to whisper things that only she can hear. All this originates from the communal shower of their boarding house. She wants to run and get away from it all. But she can't. After all, she is the landlady.
I recommend you don't read these horror stories alone and at night because you never know who or what could be watching you.
Not to worry, because these horror stories of creatures, ghosts, ghouls and pure evil will most likely keep you up at night anyway. Sweet dreams!
