Marga is a captivating historical fiction novel. Dr. Ingrid finds out that the DNA strands belonging to her and the person she now calls "Kigeni" (an alien in Swahili) are distinct from any DNA strands found on Earth. She and her life partner discover that these DNA strands had coding sequences artificially added to humans at least 80,000 years ago. Dr. Stephen uses his software and knowledge of ciphers to decipher the encrypted code in DNA.

They succeed to access the knowledge of existence of a sentient, intelligent species of aliens that once called Earth home for millions of years before humans diverged and departed some 80,000 years ago. Science fiction fans will enjoy this book because the author skillfully combines romance, espionage, and the conflict between an advanced alien species and another hostile alien species to create a compelling science fiction story.

However, what made them leave Earth, the only known habitat left to their species? What happened to them and where did they go? Their farewell to Earth was tearful because they were saying goodbye to some of their friends whose memories had been erased for a reason.
