Life's going well for Geraldine, running an antique jewelry store in a seaside town, with a pretty face and reputation for dependability and honesty and a good-natured, reliable fiance in tow... until Richard Broughton appears in Clifton, arrogant, overbearing, stunningly attractive, quite possibly involved with Geraldine's bitchy boss, Helga, and insisting he knows more about antique jewelry than Geraldine.
