This book consists of two fairy tales written by Gulzifa: The Woodpecker's Assistant and The Hidden Name.

In 'The Woodpecker's Assistant', we follow the journey of an insecure Nightingale who grapples with his deep-seated anxiety, fear of heights, and inability to sing well, leading him to question his very identity as a nightingale. He is left to face the brutal winter in the Eastern Siberian forest and, in order to survive, becomes Woodpecker's Assistant. The story is an exploration of overcoming personal fears, embracing unexpected roles, and the ever-present quest for self-discovery and purpose.

In "The Hidden Name", we follow Alima's adventures: during a usual walk with her best friends, Alima stumbles upon a miraculous, unseen-before park, home to a friendly Dragon. This unexpected host delights them with a tour around the wondrous landmarks of his realm, making their time in his company nothing short of magical.

When they try to return the next day, the park has mysteriously vanished. While her friends, relieved, easily fall back into the rhythm of their normal lives, Alima finds it harder to let go of the extraordinary experience. She remembers the Dragon's cryptic farewell, a hint at how she might find him again, but the path to her new friend seems fraught with uncertainty.

As Alima stands on the precipice of the unknown, the question hangs in the air: will she bravely pursue the secrets of the Dragon, or will she retreat, like her friends, to the comfort of the familiar?
