I try to keep it real with my kids when talking about different situations in life. Whether it's discussing history, current events, or what they need to know when they're adults. Anything can be a teachable moment. Being honest and detailed about various topics is important. Although I use these lessons for my teenagers, adults are able to learn from this stuff as well.
