A fleet of spaceships hover over the capitals of Earth's nations. All news stations are broadcasting the events. The broadcast shows an honest-to-goodness flying saucer. Then, an announcement interrupts the broadcasts. We detected an anomaly in your magnetosphere that will cause it to weaken. The magnetosphere has already begun to weaken, and there will be a magnetic pole shift soon. We also determined that within the next fifteen years, your star will go through a phase of extreme solar flares. With a weakened magnetosphere all life on Earth will perish.

Our ship was under attack when suddenly, a third ship appeared and started firing on them. Their ship explodes and our savior requests to come on board. I look toward the hatch as it opens. The most gorgeous male I have ever seen steps onto the ship. I fight the urge to fan myself. I can feel the heat rising. He is approximately 6'5" and has not an inch of fat on him. He has a swimmer's build, you know muscular toned but not muscle-bound, lean, and mean. He kind of reminds me of Legolas, from Lord of the Rings. He has long white hair. His eyes are ice-blue and his pupils are slitted like a cat. He has fangs and his ears are pointed like a Vulcan's. He has five fingers on each hand that end in what looks like retractable claws. I can't see if he has claws on his toes cause he's wearing boots. He is so hot. I'm drooling. Then he has to open his mouth and ruin the fantasy. What an ass.

I am greeted by a young female. She is the most beautiful female that I have ever seen. My mating fangs extend. What am I doing? I mentally shake myself. She can't be my mate. She is human. I have never heard of an Elorian finding their soulmate among humans. I look down at her. I am speechless. I tell myself all the reasons she can not be my mate. I look down at her. She is tiny, the top of her head only reaches my shoulder. She has long black hair. Her eyes are the color of Tupor tree leaves. She has no fangs and no claws. No wonder she needs protection. She is soft. Her hips are round. Her mounds are large. I hold myself back. All I want is to wrap her up in my arms. She is my mate. I can't stay with her. I have to find my littermates. I have no choice. I catch her scent and I almost pick her up and take her back to my ship. I stop myself. This has me on edge.
