In a world Mia thought was safe, she finds herself kidnapped with a knife to her throat. Mia's reality is turned upside down when she finds herself in a black maze in which she has to face some of her past tragedies and confront herself. Inside the maze, Mia is tested and tried. Her friends, who have gone on a frantic search for her, end up within the trap a few at a time, until Mia finds herself in an all too familiar situation.
