Facing a family member's substance use disorder can be a lonely and frightening place. Broken promises, denial, upheaval, and uncertainty are all experiences families must navigate. Each individual and family must evolve. In Hope for Families in Recovery: Finding Your Way Home, Janet and Mark assist families to understand and develop insight in preparing and facing the challenges of living with a loved one with substance use disorder. We empower the reader by sharing the breadth of our experience, giving direction, and tools to pilot the trip. Home does not have to be a physical location. It can be a place of acceptance, stability, and peace, wherever and with whomever you find it. Our book offers hope on your path to wholeness and opportunity for renewed relationships.
