The cosmology that everyone grew up learning featured Super Beings who lived in the Crystal Castle and had progeny through the ages. However, they were very self-absorbed and also caused various conflicts. The Creator Being, having recognized how the universe was changing, decided to retire them and now they live in a separate wing of the Crystal Castle.
