In this third book in the Willo the Armadillo series, Willo and her friends Anita, Josefa and Mariana take Baby the Groundhog to the little red school house for her first day of school. There, with their teacher Mrs. Bear, they learn lessons about writing each of their names and geography on the globe, before taking a break for a snack. When Anita opens her lunch box, she realizes that she has no apple to eat. Baby decides to share her apple to make Anita happy, but Anita shares her other half with Baby, making her even happier --a lesson in kindness by sharing with kindness.
