After David Berkowitz was arrested, he pled guilty and accepted life in prison. Law enforcement records were never released, leaving the public with many questions as to what really happened.

Reports began to surface that claimed Berkowitz had not acted alone and was part of a satanic cult which included accomplices to these murders. In 1976, David Berkowitz moved to Yonkers, New York, my hometown, and left a tainted image of my city and its people. As a true Yonkers resident, I felt a sense of responsibility to seek out the truth. Determined to protect the reputation of my city, my church, and the people wrongfully accused, I relentlessly walked my streets of Yonkers to find the answers to what really happened with the "Son of Sam."
