When Carter Landcaster shows up at his 75-year-old grandfather's house, he has no idea what he's walking into. The aging process is being manipulated by a small group of people, and Carter is stunned to see a much younger version of his gramps at his door. In less than 24 hours, his gramps suddenly disappears. Thus, begins a search into the little-known world of regenerated people. Secrets, lies, and astonishing powers baffle him in his attempts to track down his gramps. As this unfolds, his relationship with a co-worker named Dillon is sent into a frenzy when he learns of his involvement with his grandfather's disappearance. Flying words and fist-a-cuffs ensue.
