It's safe to assume that a mid-tier homecoming dance isn't something you'd expect to see when you turn on your television. However, for Reese, Jenna, Nick, Diana, Jesse, and Joey, this became their reality when their sophomore homecoming ended with the six of them becoming murder suspects. At this point, the trashy decor wasn't the only crime at large. Now, they have finally graduated, and after a rough four years, the six of them head off to their long-awaited trip to Hawaii before going off to college. The group does everything they can to keep this trip as relaxing as possible, but unfortunately, life has other plans for them.

Secrets and long-held confessions are uncovered in the strangest of ways, and the six of them start to find themselves unraveling like a ball of string. Amidst the quiet chaos, one thing seems to be screaming at them: "Were they naive to think that they'd moved on from what had happened to them just two years ago? The answer to this is yes.

When the six of them go their separate ways after the trip, it is a complete shock to everybody and nobody.

So, what happens when they have a not-so-by-chance reunion six years later? Will they be able to solve both the mystery that's been looming over their heads for years and the problems they created along the way? And most importantly: has time healed anything, or made everything worse?
